Prayer
Prayer is an essential part of any ministry and especially essential in the life of a child of God. We find it necessary to have an active prayer life to combat unexpected situations in life and to build one's relationship with the Lord. An active prayer ministry is key to ministry growth.
1 Thessalonians 5:17 "Pray without ceasing"
Elders / Seniors
Senior Ministry is committed to ministering and spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ to the sick and shut in those that are not able to come out to the house of God, regardless of race or religious background.
2 Timothy 4:2 "Preach the word, be instant in season and out of season, reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine."
Sunday School
Just as school is essential in educating a child, we find that Sunday School is just as essential in the education of a child of God. Sunday School will aid in Christian growth and maturity assisting in how to handle life situations according to the bible which is our life manual.
2 Timothy 3:16-17 "All scripture is given by inspiration of God; and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: that the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works."
Usher/Greeters
Proverbs 8:34 "Blessed is the man that heareth me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors." The office of the usher is essential to the ministry as this is the first person encountered at the beginning of any service who helps to set the tone and allow you to feel the love of Jesus as you come in to worship.
Youth
Youth are vital to the continued growth of any ministry. We value our youth and believe it is essential to educate them about the importance of spiritual growth and discipleship. We desire they learn the importance of living this Christian lifestyle while living and working in this world.
Music
Psalm 81:1 "Sing aloud unto God our strength: make a joyful noise unto the God of Jacob."
Outreach
The main reason we are saved from sin is to go out and bring in lost souls to the kingdom. Outreach is the way we fulfill the "Great Commission" as instructed in Matthew 28:19-20 "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you."
